In addition to their curriculum drama lessons, thirty of our students choose to have additional weekly acting lessons with visiting acting tutor Laura Rea. Within these lessons part of their study includes preparing monologues for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) graded acting exams.
This summer saw our first exam entries since starting to offer this tuition eighteen months ago; the results were brilliant, with success for all our students involved. Twenty five students chose to take exams; from this group, seventeen passed with Merit and eight passed with Distinction. Congratulations to you all; a fantastic achievement!
