School Day
The school building is open to pupils from 8.00am, when morning Inspire enrichment begins, until 4.00pm, when after school Inspire clubs finish.
The official start time of the compulsory school day is 8.45am. The official end time of the compulsory school day is 3.15pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Tuesdays, the compulsory school day finishes at 2.30pm to allow for weekly staff training.
This amounts to 32 hours and 30 minutes of school time in a typical week, including registration, lessons, breaks and lunch. Optional enrichment and after school activities are not included in this total.
We operate split breaks and lunches, with Year 7 and Year 8 separate from Year 9 to Year 13.
