Results 2018!

Congratulations to our students (and their teachers) on their GCSE results. They have weathered the storm of an unprecedented year of upheaval with reformed GCSEs which are harder than their predecessors with more content and more papers.

We are delighted with the success that our students have achieved across the full spectrum of subjects including the core subjects of English, maths and science but also in creative arts subjects which continue to thrive at Longbenton. 

Watching our students collect their results and seeing their excitement and sharing their emotions was special to be part of. We will see many of them in 6th form but best wishes to others as they pursue other avenues such as college or apprenticeship. Well done to the Year 11 class of 2018!
