On Thursday 16th March, some of our Year 8 and 9 students turned their classroom into a newsroom as they participated in the BBC School Report: a nationwide event designed to get young people involved in current affairs and journalism. The students reported on a variety of topics, from the health hazards of energy drinks to LGBT awareness in schools. The students worked as a team to produce their news reports from scratch and within a short timescale, using their own creative ideas and presentational skills. They all worked incredibly hard and produced really impressive work; well done!
