As Mr Guy is a keen Newcastle supporter I wanted to know what he thought of the relegation battle that Newcastle are in at the moment and if he thinks Rafael Benitez will be able to get Newcastle out of it all.
This is what Mr Guy said about it all,”I would be surprised if he came to Newcastle as he started the season at Real Madrid and it would be a major step down for him to come to a team that look like it is going to get relegated from the premier league. They are only 1 point below 17th place and the could definitely stay up if he brings his experience to the club. He is a very experienced manager with success in England before, winning trophies with Liverpool and Chelsea. Rafa could make them pull their socks up and help the quality that is in the squad to come out of their shell and play for the team, the fans and themselves. It looks like the players don’t listen to their current manager so if he came they might listen to him because of him being a big name manager they’ll listen to him.”
As a keen Newcastle fan I would love to see Rafael Benitez come to Newcastle as I think he would have a lot to bring to the team and would certainly help us during these hard times.
