Longbenton High School students travel to Glasgow to perform in the World Irish Dance Championships!

Five of our talented students recently travelled to Glasgow with their local Irish Dance troop to compete in the World Irish Dance Championships! It was reported that there were over 14,500 dancers and supporters in attendance at this prestigious event.  The Tyneside group, including Millie Clark, Faye Denwood and Hannah Kessond (year 7), Erin Phelan (year 8) and Charlotte Kesson (year 9) were ranked 26^th in a field of 100 troops from around the world; an excellent achievement.  Well Done to you all!
