Ofsted Inspection Parental Forum Meeting
While we are obviously very disappointed with the overall judgement, which was against a much tougher inspection framework, there are many positives in the report and Ofsted noted our strengths in a range of areas. I am pleased the inspectors recognised the action plans we have in place to bring about rapid progress and are confident in the ability of the leadership of the school to bring about significant improvements.
I would like to invite any interested parties to an open forum meeting at the school on Thursday 10th January at 6pm. At that meeting there will be presentations from our Chair of Governors, Sheila Palmerley, and the Senior School Improvement Officer for North Tyneside, Andrew Fowler, as well as Headteacher, Paul Quinn. There will then be the opportunity to hear about our plans for taking the school forward, to ask questions and be part of an open discussion. I look forward to seeing many of you there then.
