Donald Trump was the underdog that no-one expected. If things go the way he wants a lot of people will not be happy but many will be overjoyed with his unexpected victory. Many people disagree with his policies.
However Hilary Clinton has many points that are very reasonable whereas lots of Americans disagree with her points such as the controlling of firearms. If Hilary Clinton wins the election she will be the first woman president, which will be a very big step for women equality in America.
Some of the points that Donald Trump is trying to get across is that America should build a wall between the USA and Mexico and that Islamic Americans should be kicked out or put under constant surveillance. A good point is that when he started for president no-one believed he could do it but he is now very strong and one of the leaders which show very strong perseverance and determination to win what he has fought very hard for. Hillary Clinton is also a very good candidate and has good points and one of them is that firearms should have more control and be illegal and should be more difficult to get a gun license. Hillary is also married to one of the previous presidents Bill Clinton who was a very successful man.
The election dates where the Americans will go to the poles and vote is the 8th November 2016.
