The 2025 Young Mayor and Member of Youth Parliament Elections
North Tyneside's Young Mayor and Member of Youth Parliament Elections are running from January - February 2025, with an online vote and a ballot going ahead in schools, colleges and customer first centres. If you are a young person aged 11-25 (19-25 are eligible to vote if you have a special educational need) make sure you have your voice heard and cast your vote!
The online vote is open from Friday 10th January to Friday 24th January - a link will be shared with all schools, colleges, youth provisions and through social media. All votes will be checked and verified to ensure no duplications.
A ballot vote will then take place in schools, colleges and customer first centres from Monday 17th - Wednesday 19th February. A list will be shared of customer first centres where young people can vote who are;
- home educated
- live in North Tyneside but study out of area
- young people who access an alternative provision
