We are excited about our drop down Respect Day running today at LHS!

Students will be taking part in a carousel of activities across the day including:

- What it means to be a Rights Respecting school in relation to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child 

- What respect looks like at LHS including a new Respect Charter for students and staff

- A police-led workshop on malicious communication including how to be safe online and on social media

- A talk from motivational speaker Loti Nambombe https://www.milk-education.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/16-Loti.pdf 

- How to protect the rights of others including from the perspective of bullying including how to be an 'upstander' rather than a bystander
