We have had a positive Covid case confirmed in Year 10 as of May 10th - 11th (positive LFD test and then PCR positive confirmed on 11th).
This has affected Year 10 students only.
Individualised letters have been sent to those self-isolating regarding return to school dates, which for most students will be Monday 17th May - but these will differ depending on the day of contact.
It has been some time since a positive case in school, so a reminder to all and parents/carers that:
- students should not be sent to school with Covid symptoms
- twice weekly asymptomatic lateral flow tests should continue to be taken (using kits supplied by school)
- students should ensure hand hygiene - washing frequently and hand sanitising
- students should be observing the national roadmap guidelines regarding socialising outside of school
