North East Regional SENDIASS - Special Educational Needs     and Disability Information, Advice and Support Services

 Are offering a 2019 training programme for parents/carers which includes;

This session will focus upon how children with special educational needs are supported in schools and settings through the ‘Graduated Approach’ outlined in the SEND Code of Practice 0-25.  It will describe a broad range of SEN support, Quality First Teaching, SEN Support Plans, Education Health and Care Plans and how parents/carers can get the most out of meetings in school.

All sessions begin at 10am and finish at 12.30pm on;

25th September at The Centre for Life, Newcastle

9th October at Newcastle Civic Centre, Council Chambers

14th October at Durham Town Hall, Main Hall

23rd October at The Roker Hotel, Seaburn, Sunderland

24th October at The National Royal Navy Museum, Hartlepool

30th October at Middlesbrough Football Club, Directors Lounge
