LAMDA Triumph!

After months of preparation, we once again invited an examiner from LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) to visit our school to examine twenty five of our students who study acting on a private 1-1 or paired basis within school in addition to their classroom drama lessons.  The results have been released and are really something to celebrate.  LAMDA are a stringent exam board who have very high standards of expectations.  From our cohort, the vast majority of students achieved a Distinction grading which is an outstanding achievement.  Particular mentions go to year 11 student Harry Van Ransbeke who achieved a merit for Grade 6 LAMDA (whilst also working towards his GCSEs) and year 8 student Jackson Jones who, for the second year running, achieved the highest mark of the cohort with a Distinction grading and a mark of 92/100 for Grade 3.  Congratulations to all students who were successful in their LAMDA exams this year!
