Parental Engagement Forum
The school are to hold a meeting on Monday 17th June, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, in our library to hear parents’ views on the work of the school. This is to help us in making decisions about the day to day running of the school and is open to any parents or carers.
Throughout the year we have asked parents at parental events for their views on how things are in school from a parental perspective and what they see as issues that need further consideration. An area that frequently comes up is to consider further how the school communicates to home about the progress of the children in our school. Therefore I would like this to be the focus of this parental forum.
The school will explain the rationale of what we do currently and then hear the views of parents about written reports, parents’ evenings, data progress information that is sent home, the timing of all of these and other related matters.
I hope to see you there and look forward to hearing your views to help review this key aspect of the school’s work.
