On Wednesday 12th December, eighty students from across years 7-13 celebrated the coming of Christmas at our annual Carol Service at St. Bartholomew’s Church. The church was full with proud parents and teachers who joined in with traditional congregational carols whilst also being thoroughly entertained by musical performances given by many of our school ensembles. In addition, the congregation were led through the Christmas story by readers from each year group who delivered the texts with clarity and meaning.
A number of members of the congregation commented that for them, the annual Longbenton High School Carol Service marks the start of their Christmas.
Well Done to the large number of students involved in this important event in our school calendar.
