Congratulations to Alfie Ward on his athletics achievements this year. Alfie represented Northumberland Schools at the Inter counties and achieved 2nd place in both the long and triple jumps, jumping a staggering 11.10m. He has more recently represented Northumberland at the English Schools North East, Yorkshire and Humber regional round of the combined events pentathlon. Alfie qualified as the highest scoring individual and go on to compete at the prestigious National ESAA finals in Bedford in September.
A fantastic achievement for a highly motivated and determined young man and we wish him every success at the next level of competition.
