Maths Team Challenge

On Monday 19^th March, four of our students competed in the UKMT Team Maths Challenge in Heddon-on-the-Wall. The students were excellent ambassadors of the school; they enjoyed the challenge of some quick-paced maths questions competing against a large number of schools from all over Northumberland, North Tyneside and Newcastle.

Year 9 students Ryan Gibson and Catherine Chaplin along with Year 8 students Evie Hartridge and Joe Morrison battled hard through four rounds including an exceptionally difficult Cross-Number.  A fantastic achievement!
