Transition September 2024
We are pleased to be able to provide the following package of resources that can be used with your Year 6 child in readiness for them coming to Longbenton High School in September.
The package is designed to help Year 6 and you as parents, through this transition process.
‘Be Awesome, Go Big’ involves:
9 sessions for Year 6 with a workbook to complete and videos from Matthew Syed, Matthew Burton, Gemma Oaten and Jaz Ampaw-Farr.
These sessions focus on things such as:
- Being Awesome
- Unlocking Your Mind
- Dare to Take Risks
- Making The Change
- Lost but Not Lost
- 'Bouncebackability'
- What is Normal Anyway
- Friendships and Fallouts
- Living Well
