We encourage our students from the start to see their 7 year journey with us leading towards A Levels and Level 3 qualifications in our 6th form.

NE12 Sixth Form is our collaborative Sixth Form with George Stephenson High School (close by in Killingworth). This allows us to offer a broad curriculum, with some subjects taught at each site, and some subjects shared across both sites. Students have a free shuttle bus service that runs between the two sites throughout the day.

The range of courses on offer is designed to allow all students the opportunity for further study. All students are welcome into our Sixth Form, provided they are committed to their studies and to making the most of all that is on offer here.

We welcome students from other schools; you do not have to have studied here in Years 7-11 to join our 6th form.

Please get in touch with Mr Williams, Head of 6th Form, for more details on 0191 2189500 or IW@longbenton.org.uk
